Was doing some quick sketching today... Man, I am rust- EE! Starting out with birds was fun though, nice, clear, simple shapes. There's an endless variety and they are SO easy to caricature. FUN! I think I am gonna take a few of these further into the design realm. Enjoy!

Nice. I actually always have trouble drawing birds, I have a tough time seeing the gesture in them, and they always end up stuff. These are great, though, man. Matt Nolte introduced me to the harpy eagle. It's like the great white of the avian world, check it out.

Austin: Yeah, i know EXACTLY what you mean about trouble seeing the gesture. Unless they are flying, landing or taking off they don't have a ton of poses. If i could draw like Matt Nolte though these drawings would be in a heckuva lot better shape!
